To smoke or not to smoke seems to be one of the number one questions people ask these days. Regular smoking poses all sorts of health risk including lung disease and heart disease. The addictive nature the cigarette holds makes it hard to put down and kick the habit fully. But thanks to many e cigarette reviews, the growing trend is becoming e-cigs instead of firing one up.
E-Cigarettes, Are they Safe?
One of the top questions concerning an e-cig is, are they safe? There are millions of smokers in the United States alone. Among those smokers their are already many health issues arising from inhaling the toxins from a standard cigarette. But within those million smokers, quite a bit have switched over to the e-cigarette with no complaints. And as of now no adverse reactions have been reported from smoking an electronic cigarette. When the electronic cigarette is compared to tobacco related products, the e-cigarette comes out on top. Electronic cigarettes contain a grand total of ten ingredients. Tobacco related products contain at least 69 known carcinogens. This has become the leading cause of death in the United States of America.
Most smokers can’t quit, some can with the aid of the electronic cigarette. A smoker that has smoked for thirty years of their life is going to find it hard to break a life long habit. Not to mention it is becoming harder to find areas to smoke in. Most restaurants and bars have banned smoking inside the establishment. But what is becoming an increasing trend is seeing people smoking an e-cig while out and about. With the e-cig second-hand smoke is virtually nonexistent.
Doing proper research can be an eye opener when it comes to choosing between an e-cigarette and a tobacco cigarette. Nicotine is nothing more than a stimulant for the brain. When taking all the toxins out of the equation, people are still getting the nicotine without the harmful effects. This all points to e-cigarettes potentially saving the lives of many in the long run.
The e-cigarette come in small cartridges that come with or without nicotine. One cartridge equals the amount of one pack of cigarettes. After the initial starter kit, switching to e-cig’s can save thousands of dollars a year. Just think of all the extra money to could go to other luxuries that seemed unaffordable before.
How the E-Cigarette Works
Thanks to today’s advancement in technology, the e-cig can offer the user a real smoking experience without the smell and fire potential a standard cigarette gives.
The electronic cigarette has been around since the 1960’s. It wasn’t popular back then because it took forty years to be able to mass produce the electronic cigarette in a cost-effective manner. The e-cig has five different parts. When the user inhales, an air flow sensor sends a signal to the small, microchip. Then the microchip in turns sends a signal to the atomizer. The atomizer heats up and vaporizes the solution containing nicotine. The rechargeable battery powers the e-cig and gives a red light tip at the end that gives the illusion it was real.
After much research and trying the e-cig, it will be time to say goodbye to all tar cigarettes and embark on a journey that brings a healthier new you in return. No more ashtrays, lighters, or air fresher to hide the smell. The electronic cigarette is legal to use indoors and not prohibited by any governing laws. The smoke from an e-cig looks real but all it is a vaporized propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin that distributes the nicotine. The vapor disappears within seconds leaving smell behind. It’s all FDA approved.
Don’t take the words of countless electronic cigarette reviews. Find out first hand the difference in your breathing after just a few weeks of switching over to e-cigarettes. Most people can tell a huge difference in breathing, taste, and overall health in that length of time.
In early May, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a “deeming rule” that gives it regulatory authority over e-cigarettes. The rule means e-cigarettes must pass a sweeping review and testing regime to continue production after August 2019. Many experts believe the new regime will drive most e-cigarettes makers out of the market. This would eliminate the option of a nicotine product that is much safer for smokers’ health than deadly, combustible cigarettes.
What are the deeming rule’s implications for e-cigarettes and public health? What are the prospects for legislative and judicial challenges? What is the right regulatory regime for e-cigarettes? Join AEI for a panel discussion to explore these and other questions.
